Wow, I get a lot of comments or just visits with this problem in particular, to the point where I’m thinking an anti-clearwire website would be useful! hahaa

Keep ‘em coming people, I love it, only proving my theory that XBOX LIVE does not work well with shitWIRE!

Motorola 2110 and Xbox Live

If you’re having problems with the NAT saying the dreaded STRICT, type in the address that’s on the bottom of your modem and go into configuration, change it to where you have a public ip address. This is what I had to do to get mine to work; now mine says open but I’ve since shut the xbox off and haven’t gotten back on. I will confirm this in later reports and give a more detailed report on how to change that ip to public.

If you need help with this modem, lemme know. I will say that I’ve read that the Southeast or southwest are getting sent different Motorola 2110, well different firmware, the above worked for mine. It may or may not work for yours.

xbox,clearwire,playstation2,being sick

I’m sick and I’m tired of it, I’ve gone through a box of TheraFlu, a bottle of Zicam, a bottle of Nyquil and a back of Halls cough drops. Now I have equate (nyquil in sheeps clothing), Alka-Seltzer Plus / Mucous and Congestion  and I also bought some stuff for the bath that claims it helps with colds and your sinuses since now they’re messing with me. I opened the bottle of Villiage Naturals Therapy Mineral Bath Soak and it about knocked me on my ass, maybe it’ll work.

I don’t play Halo 3 much now since the server load is too heavy for clearwire which sucks because I love going online with Halo but clearwire hates me. I’m convinced I would be close to level 40 or higher if it wasn’t for the damn clearwire.

So, I only get on every now and again. I am going to hook up the ps2 today or tomorrow and play the fishing game I bought the other day.

Clearwire and Xbox Live..

Since, I’ve been receiving a lot of hits about that - I felt compelled to post about it again.

My hate for Clearwire began when I started playing Halo 3 online, it can not handle the server load.

So, if you really believe that you have an amazing connection through them, then think again. You have a low band connection 1.5 Mbps and you’re paying 50 dollars for it when AT&T offers the same for twenty dollars.

Unless you’re living right next door to the main office in Kirkland,Washington you’re being bent over and plowed.

Don’t try to attempt to get another service with them and then change your mind because they’re going to renew your contract regardless and they may or may not make sure you know that.

Point being is when I get to move into town, goodbye Clearwire and hello cableone!

Now if you’re playing oh say Guitar Hero III on XBox Live, your crappy connection with Clearwire will be okay because it doesn’t require that much to do multiplayer with it unlike Halo.

You can also pretty much play any other old game no one goes online with anymore with no problems but if you’re a halo fan, then get rid of clearwire or beg your parents to ditch the crap because it’s not worth it.

If you’re reading this and have this same problem, PLEASE leave a comment, I would love to hear what you have to say. :)

if you want to play Halo 3 on XBox Live; there’s other games that my pathetic internet connection will work with but Halo is one of my favorites and it requires a higher download rate than what I have now. I thought I was going to be able to do that with AT&T - err WRONG - O. Where we live, all we can get is what I already have.

So now, I’m going to have to wait till we move into town sometime next year hopefully but by then there’s a possibility the Halo action may have died down, I doubt it but you never know.

This sucks.

Woo Haa, I told you I was right….

So, we have clearwire, I got fed up last night while checking out something online and the screen just looked back at me and wouldn’t load. Clearwire blows balls and clearly no one should have it. If you can get cable or dsl internet, then that’s your best bet especially if you want to play games online with your xbox.

After about 3 hours of arguing my mom finally got a tech support guy to be honest and say that Clearwire can not handle XBOX Live. BOO YAH! That’s all I needed but regardless, mom’s screwed and has to stay with them till April 2009 because she was going to get a phone through them until they told her she had to pay like 200 up front or some stuff like that.

EVEN though she didn’t get the service, she still got screwed with a new 2 year contract other wise her contract would have been over with as of November 29th of this year.As is, she’s screwed or else she has to pay the 200 dollar early cancellation fee.

So, we checked into AT&T DSL, straight DSL no phone and we’re getting it ( honey and I ) Monday. It’ll cost us 45 dollars a month, the price mom pays for clearwire at double the speed. WOO HAA, stick that up you hoo haa!

And because I’m tired of sitting at home all day every day, I’m looking for another job and hopefully I won’t have to go back to Wal-Mart.
