if you want to play Halo 3 on XBox Live; there’s other games that my pathetic internet connection will work with but Halo is one of my favorites and it requires a higher download rate than what I have now. I thought I was going to be able to do that with AT&T - err WRONG - O. Where we live, all we can get is what I already have.

So now, I’m going to have to wait till we move into town sometime next year hopefully but by then there’s a possibility the Halo action may have died down, I doubt it but you never know.

This sucks.

R and his brother in law have taken the XBOX to play at  R’s mom’s house, I’m forced to find other things to occupy my time. This sucks.

While I love blogging, it seems like Halo 3 takes up way much more of my time now a days, I am determined to have all 1000 points from it but dont know if that’ll ever happen. I am at least higher than what R is on the online part is, I’m a lieutenant and he’s a gunnery sargent.

Then again, he works and I sit on my ass and do nothing.

Speaking of which, part of my making money online consists of selling crap on ebay. One item which in particular was a car stereo, well it arrived with a messed up reading lens, providing the guy’s telling the truth and just showed me a disc that’s fucked up.

Anyways, I bought insurance for the item and double wrapped the item with bubblewrap. Well since the moron at my post office didn’t mark fragile on the item, he can’t get his money back plus they said it wasn’t sufficient packaging. EXCUSE ME? Go to work for Wal-Mart and see how PLASMA t.v’s are shipped and STILL work when unloaded from the trucks and then tell me my shiznit wasn’t sufficiently wrapped.

So, it looks like, he’ll be sending the item back and us giving him a 150 dollars back for a broken item because of the post office.

I don’t feel like being on the internet as of late; I get on just to check a few things and then I’m off to watch t.v.

Shows I’ve been watching lately, Bionic Woman, Moonlight, Ghost Whisperer and of course, CSI.

That and Dallas Cowboys football; I will say that I was impressed with their kicker Nick Folk who not only kicked the game winning field goal but did it twice - for those of you that didn’t watch the Cowboys and Bills game, I’m not seeing in any reports about it. The coach for the bills called a time out on the snap on the FIRST fifty - three yard field goal, so he had to do it again and that’s exactly what he did.

A friend of ours is a Halo gamer as well and he sent honey a video of him playing, little shit went on a 5 man killing spree online. Guess he had to brag. lol.

My honey works for Wal-Mart and one of his assistant managers is into gaming as much as we are and asked him if he had Gears of War. For some reason unknown to me, he told him yes. *gets confused look*

So, I did bid on a few auctions on ebay but everyone of them went for maybe ten dollars less than what it would be if you bought it brand new.Excuse me, what’s the point of buying an USED game for basically the same price as a new one. That doesn’t make sense to me and so, I told honey that I would check out EB Games for him to see if they had a copy for a decent amount of money.

If I had the spare sixty dollars, I would just go buy it brand new and be done with it.

Yes, it’s an “old school” game so to speak but with much better graphics!
Anyone ever play pong or pole position? Man, those were fun at the time but today’s advances in technology is unbelievable, I remember playing pole position at my friend’s house for hours on end.

To be honest with you, if my stuff still worked to this day, I’d still have every game console I ever had!  I would love to still have the nintendo my brother had; I loved playing them games.

A lot of games now a days are much much more complex than those of old. I mean the graphics, sometimes I think they do go overboard and then some games like Halo look f**cking awesome!

Anyway, to get to the point of this whole post was that some of the stuff that we can download are demos and what not. But with the silver and gold memberships of XBox Live, you can download Aegis Wings in it’s entirety. I played it and now I’m hooked on it, that’s my favorite game we have thus far for XBox, I haven’t ever played Halo, so I’m sure eventually I’ll give that a whirl as well.

We have one now, A bought it for honey. We’ve paid him fifty dollars thus far, we owe him $350 dollars now. Not exactly what I wanted to do with fifty dollars of our remaining sixty or so dollars.
But certain things don’t seem to add up in honey’s head all the time but at least he’s allowing me to sell his dvd player car stereo. Gimme an offer, haha!  Actually, it’ll be going on ebay in the next few days.

Seems to be that honey’s been redlined for the next two months to work all of his days off or something like that. So, at least he’ll have an extra 100 dollars to play with to himself .
