Finally, my heart monitor is here!

And it’s awesome, almost makes up for the fact that Wal-Mart.com sucks. Word of advice for using them fucks, USE A SHOPPING CARD so that there is no issues with your bank wanting to verify that it’s you spending the money!

Anyway, I love the fact that I can change the logo on it, I know that’s silly but I just think it rocks and I’ve found out that I burn more calories than I thought, I figured it’d be a bit more but damn what a difference!

formaspace

My boyfriend had been looking to find a place that would custom build him a stand for his game consoles and I do believe I’ve found the perfect place called formaspace.
Granted, I don’t know if they’d custom build one for just one person because the site and the company are more directed towards businesses, schools and laboratories.

However, it is at least worth a shot to me to see if they could build him a stand for his game consoles or have him to do it.

Even if they can’t or won’t do one for an individual, if I ever do venture into the business world of owning my own business, I’ll have a place to contact for workbenches and what not for my store.

Motorola 2110 and Xbox Live

If you’re having problems with the NAT saying the dreaded STRICT, type in the address that’s on the bottom of your modem and go into configuration, change it to where you have a public ip address. This is what I had to do to get mine to work; now mine says open but I’ve since shut the xbox off and haven’t gotten back on. I will confirm this in later reports and give a more detailed report on how to change that ip to public.

If you need help with this modem, lemme know. I will say that I’ve read that the Southeast or southwest are getting sent different Motorola 2110, well different firmware, the above worked for mine. It may or may not work for yours.

DSL & Wal-Mart & Weight Loss

No the two aren’t joining forces.

We got AT&T DSL yesterday and even though the speed is the same as clearwire’s that we have, the dsl is delivering a much better performance than what clearwire ever did with Halo 3.

There hasn’t been any weird ass ghosting, just a few times but that’s been because that person’s connection has sucked!

Now to talk about Wal-Mart, I ordered a heart monitor through their website a few days ago and paid the extra fourteen dollars to have it here quick. Well, it’s still not here and I don’t blame Wal-Mart for that. You see, I used my boyfriend’s credit card to purchase it and well, his bank water the charged verified with him on the line, I knew nothing of it until yesterday. I happened to check the email I set up specifically for online blah blah for R.

Well, Wal-Mart had sent a letter stating that I needed to contact them or my order was going to be canceled. Well low and behold, come to find out, for some odd reason Wal-Mart called his mom’s house and one of the ladies there answered the phone. THEY NEVER told him  about it, so therefor, I never knew about it.

So, I’m aggravated with his mom and sis right now because they failed to deliver this message to him. If it was something that didn’t have 130 dollars tied to it, I wouldn’t of cared but HELLO! I almost lost my f!!!ing order because of this!

I do blame Wal-Mart for NOT CALLING the number that I listed for shipping and billing which was his CELL PHONE! Had they called that, I would have known sooner and my stuff would probably already be here, as is because of both of these f!ck ups, I have to wait longer now.

Weight Loss:
I didn’t lose any weight last week but I know why, I’ve been slacking off but I didn’t gain any either. So, i’m happy for that but now this week is to get back into gear and start doing what I’ve been doing. I will lose 15 lbs by April 15th and I will win the challenge  on one of my sparkpeople teams.

This week resolutions:
Drink my water.
30 minutes of exercise for Tuesday thru Saturday.
Keep my ranges in the right area.
Cook more at home and quit going out to eat.

TombRaider Anniversary

lara1.jpgI bought the above with my income tax and it’s pretty damn good, I just hope that there’s a better ending to it than the last Tomb Raider game I played. I finished it and it just ended, there was nothing special about the ending unless I got duped and didn’t have the full thing. Don’t know, never checked into it.

On the anniversary game, it allows you to play the actual game as well as Croft Manor - I’ve been playing Croft Manor and some parts are racking my brain. I haven’t played a Tomb Raider game in years! So, it’s a new challenge for me. And it almost seems barbaric to not be playing a first person shooter game. I got so use to Halo 3, that anything else that includes shooting in the game seems weird to me when it’s not first person shooter.

In other news, my computer is back - they had to replace the motherboard, dvd drive and the hard drive. Only bad thing about all of it is, they replaced the hard drive with one 40 gigs smaller! GRRR!

We’re also going to go ahead and get DSL from AT&T, to see if that fairs better at playing Halo 3 matchmaking better. It doesn’t matter if it does or not, I’m going to have to play between March 1st and March 7th for a chance to win some Halo stuff! WOOT!

Speaking of Halo, we did buy the Halo Legendary Box Set or whatever you want to call it, the one that comes with the helmet. Of course, winning another would be beneficial then Ricky could have his own instead of trying to walk out with mine if we ever break up.

I’m still trucking along with this trying to lose weight thing, I don’t know how good I did this week. I’ve felt really ran down this whole entire week, I did manage to go to the gym twice but as for other exercise I really haven’t done any. I’m going to do a last chance workout tomorrow to burn some extra calories.

My Polar F6 Heart Montior better be here Monday or Wal-Mart and I are going to go round and round! I paid the extra 14 dollars for shipping, nevermind the fact that those creeps taxed the shipping. I was wondering why the tax on a 98 $ item was 10 dollars, the tax rate here isn’t 9.125 %, you jerkwads, it’s 8.250% ! I should have paid two dollars less than what I did.

Foodconnect.com launches as a new social networking site specifically targeted to food enthusiasts. Yes, you read that right, now all you food enthusiasts have a place to call home where you can submit your own recipes of your favorite dishes that you’ve thought up in your own kitchen. This is the premier place to find different ways of making that superb cheese enchilada dish that you’re always bragging about - you can test out others ideas of how it should be done and see if it matches up to your own.

I’m sure some people are thinking but what about the calories; www.foodconnect.com
has got you covered, baby! They’ve got that included, you can watch your calories, carbs, fats and proteins since they’ve included a calculator right there on the site for those details. You want to see who’s tossing out these amazing recipes , just click on the photo to see if they’ve got any uploaded.

Foodconnect.com is like any other social networking but that special twist for the food lover in you. If you’re wanting more than just food, they’ve even included sections for wine and drinks, so there’s no reason for you not to make the gourmet chef in you happy as he or she has been in a while.

One last thing before I go, me personally, I’m picky when it comes to webdesign but foodconnect is a site I can go to again and not want to quickly hit X. It’s a cinch to navigate and the colors compliment the site, so there’s no fear of odd color collaborations for you to worry about.

Wordless Wednesday For Thursday

Lone. my wolf hybird laying down in her area. I also had her mother Shylo who is half pitbull and half blue heeler, unfortunately, we were forced to move and I was forced to choose which dogs got to go and which didn’t. That sucked majorly!

If I would have had a choice, I would of kept all of my dogs, they were all fed well and all loved very much so. I chose Lone due to her laid back nature but even though laid back as she is, she’s very protective of her family.

Money,money, money

I’d like more of it but I think that sums up what a lot of think but anyways, I was going to go ahead and chunk out the cash for my own ipod; the nano, not that I like the new nano but I was going to - only one problem, they only had green, I wanted pink or black! I could go through the Apple Store but I’m impatient. So, I’ll just wait till A) I have a job or B) I have that money from the tax rebate.

I did buy my heart monitor though, now just to wait on Wal-Mart - oh joyous, I paid the 14 dollars for express shipping plus their processing time, the latest it says is by Monday of next week - so we shall see.

I can fit inside the O pants now, they’re tight as hell but they can be buttoned and zipped. I talked to honey’s dad last night, wasn’t expecting someone calling from prison to be asking to talk to me since he’s never met me. No, he’s not in prison for what I would consider a major crime but according to the laws - it’s still wrong of what he was doing when he was out.

Just out of wishful thinking for honey, when his dad does get out, I hope he decides to stay away from what he did to get in and I hope teaches honey to weld, it seems like he’d really like to learn because I’m fairly confident that he doesn’t want to work at Wal-Mart forever unless he has too.

Then again, there’s always the chance I’ll be making enough cash for the both of us and he can be cabana boy. :D lol
We bought the Halo Legendary box set, you know the one with the Helmet, anyways we watched one of the dvds that comes with it and it actually got me really interested in the making of video games. Interested me enough for me to request info from the art institute of dallas, so if I think it’s something I could do - I may go to school for that and see if it leads me anywhere. If not, I’ll go to school for something else! hahaha

Blood Sugar And Cholesterol levels

I had that checked at the mall as they have a place there for screening, what an odd place to stick something like that but never the less, it’s there.

Blood sugar is fine which pretty much eliminates diabetes for me, my blood sugar has always been in good levels - which in turns mark off one of the problems associated with PCOS. The more I think about it and the more that I see that I only have two issues associated with PCOS - being fat and having hair on my face, the more I think that damn depo provera shot is to blame for the cysts on my ovaries. I don’t know why but I think  that is the root cause of it.

My hDL levels were below what they should be and I need to bring them up, I guess I need more nuts and good fatty meat in my diet.  My triglyceride’s were fine, my cholesterol levels were fine but my lDL’s weren’t, only 22 points above what they should be. Shall I say, I need to lay off Mexican food?

Have I mentioned that I think Google sucks? I don’t see why people prefer it over yahoo anyways, I like yahoo’s email layout better than Google’s any day of the week as well as the searching. People just like the next big thing so to speak, my boyfriend is no exception, he wanted a damn playstation 3 and now he has one but we can’t get games for it, so now he wants to stick it in his mom’s storage unit. Is he not thinking or what? If that bitch isn’t climate controlled and dust free, there’s a good chance his playstation isn’t going to work once he gets it out of there.

What the f ever, do what you want, just don’t tell me you want another one when you find out that one’s broke. Why the hell did we shell out money for a purse for it and a cooler if you want to stick it in the storage unit? You should have done that in the first damn place or how about this, NEVER GOTTEN IT! But no, it was the 80 gig and you had to have it! Now, you refuse to sell it because people can’t get the 80 gig now! You want games for it? Quit wanting stupid shit for you really expensive phone and quit wanting other stupid shit you’re going to end up sticking in your mommy’s storage unit!

I could go on a huge ass rant about you not wanting your stuff broken here, well I didn’t want a broken computer but now I have one because you think I’m stupid.

shopping cart.

Are you an online merchant in search of a ecommerce software for your products, then maybe you might be interested in shopping cart. They’re easy to navigate, change layout and they offer a demo login so you can see how their shopping cart works and how it would fit into your business needs. It’s easy to set up, they’ve got a 10 day free trial going on right now and they even offer a free store design for your shopping cart software. I just noticed that they have web promotion as well, they submit your shopping cart up to 200 major search engines and optimize searches for your shopping carts keywords. Some of the search engines they target include google/aol, msn, netscape/iwon and alexa to name a few. Sound interesting to you and something that would be for your company, then head on over there and quit wasting your time here.
